Meet Raya
About Me
Hi, I'm Raya! I am the granddaughter of immigrants from India, Hungary, and the Dominican Republic. My own family's experiences have opened my eyes to the significance of preserving mental health for newcomers and thus I founded the non-profit charity, Peaceful Minds Initiative!
United By a Common Goal
Peaceful Minds Initiative is based in Cleveland, Ohio, which has allowed us to forge meaningful connections with local companies and organizations. We have been recognized as a nominating organization for Progressive Insurance, headquartered in Mayfield, Ohio, and ranked 62nd on the 2024 Fortune 500 list of top American corporations. We partner with The Emotional Relief Fund, an organization dedicated to providing financial support for teens to access essential mental health resources. Additionally, we collaborate with the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, as well as local Girl Scout troops in the greater Cleveland area.
